Summit School Early Learning Center serves several
different populations of children. Children are taught within a natural
environment, blending children with and without disabilities.
All children are welcome here and are cared for in
a warm, nurturing environment. Summit School Early Learning Center is best
suited to help children within a range of educational needs.
Children’s specific needs can be determined through quality
screening.
We serve several populations, which are unique and
deserve description, including the following:
Children between the ages of three and nine who
are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ASD diagnoses
may include Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Pervasive Development
Disorders, Pervasive Development Disorders (NOS), Atypical Autism,
Rett’s Disorder, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder, Fragile X
Syndrome, Non-verbal Learning Disabilities and Hyperlexia
Children between the ages of three and six who are
diagnosed with Other Health Impairments (OHI) and Developmental Delays
